Winter Produce: December - February

Below are just a few of the common vegetables and fruit grown during the winter season in Japan and at their highest quality. Each year our suppliers will likely grow these vegetables and fruit, and may introduce new produce as their farms expand and diversify. On a weekly basis, we will provide our clients with a list of produce provided by our suppliers for importation to Guam.

Daikon

Daikon is a japanese white raddish, often used in soups, and great for pickling. It is a great source of fiber and controlling blood pressure.

Spinach

Spinach a dark green leafy vegetable, a great staple for salads, stir-frys, and soups and stews. A versatile vegetable and cancer-fighter.

Yuzu

Yuzu is a citrus fruit, like a lemon but less tart and sweeter than a lemon. A great source of vitamin C and used in baking & cooking

Strawberries

Japan produces some of the best strawberries worldwide. Strawberries are great in desserts and just eating fresh. It is high in vitamin C.

Spring Produce: March - May

Each year our suppliers will likely grow these vegetables, and may introduce new produce as their farms expand and diversify. On a weekly basis, we will provide our clients with a list of produce provided by our suppliers for importation to Guam.

Asparagus

Asparagus is a versatile veggie, it can be eaten raw, blanched, stir-fried, and baked. It is rich in vitamins B, K and great for gut health.

Spring Greens Mix

As winter turns into spring, we welcome fresh leafy greens back to our table. Spring Greens are the basics for a great salad. Nutrient rich!

Japanese Mountain Yam

Yamaimo or Japanese Mountain Yam is ground or grated into a paste. It is used for Japanese sweets and sushi. It is an overall health booster.

Sweet Potato

Japanese Sweet potatoes are a treat in itself. Roasted or boiled it’s the perfect sweet treat. It is high in fiber making you feel full longer.

Summer Produce: June - August

Each year our suppliers will likely grow these vegetables, and may introduce new produce as their farms expand and diversify. Eggplant

The japanese eggplant is a delicios vegetable, cooked in so many ways. Roasted with miso paste is divine. Its skin full or antioxidants.

Cucumbers

Cucumbers are 95% water, so they are great to snack in hot weather. Pickle them or top your salad with them they’re a great vessel of flavor.

Pineapple

Pineapple is a powerhouse fruit. It rich in vitamins, reduces inflammation, and aids in digestion. Bake it grill it or eat it raw.

Watermelon the perfect summer fruit. Sweet and full of water to keep you hydrated and fulfill your sweets craving.


Fall Produce: September - November

Below are just a few of the common vegetables and fruit grown during the fall/autumn season in Japan and at their highest quality. Each year our suppliers will likely grow these vegetables, and may introduce new produce as their farms expand and diversify. On a weekly basis, we will provide our clients with a list of produce provided by our suppliers for importation to Guam.

Mushrooms

Mushrooms roasted, grilled, stir-fried, souped or sauced are absolutely delightful. They maintain heart health and great for your gut.

Cabbage

Cabbage the fundamental vegetable. Eaten raw or cooked in various fashions, as a side or a main. It is a cancer-fighting superfood.

Turnips

Turnips are great in soups, which may be why they help ward off colds and other illnesses. Great source for fiber, vitamin C, & potassium.

Apples

Apples in japan are not just pretty but delicious. They are filled with vitamins A,C, and K. Baked, roasted or eaten fresh is yummy!

  • The Couples Box - $40.00 per week

    The Couples Box is a fruit and vegetable weekly subscription. This subscription will include 3 types of salad vegetables - lettuce, spinach, and cucumbers, 3 cooking vegetables - carrots, daikon, cabbage, and 2 in-season fruits, all weighing approximately eight (8) kilograms.

  • The Family Box - $75.00 per week

    The Family Box is a fruit and vegetable weekly subscription. This subscription will include 3 types of salad vegetables - lettuce, spinach, and cucumbers, 3 cooking vegetables - carrots, daikon, cabbage, 2 in-season fruits, and two in-season types of veggies all weighing approximately fifteen (15) kilograms.
